Wonderful Sense of the Era

October 28, 2005

A trip to Branson for my family just isn't complete until we see the Haygoods show! We love the location of the theater (Truman is a great side street to use to access the theater & avoid HWY 76). The theater is also very "user friendly" with its clean restrooms, elevator, snack bar, and comfortable seats with cup holders.

I come to town 3-5 times a year with a variety of age ranges; from my parents, (ages 69 & 70), my husband & I (in our 30's), & my children (boys, ages 8 & 10).

It's always unanimous that "The Haygoods" is the show that we will see! The genres of music appeal to everyone.

The Haygoods perform and play every tune with a wonderful sense of the era from which it originated. The family's showmanship is rivaled by no one. The older brothers make it seem like they want to be no place but up on that stage making a memorable night for their audience members . . . & boy do they succeed!

The two youngest members of the family are really fine-tuning their showmanship also. As a tap dance instructor, one of my favorite segments of the show is when the older brothers come out and get awesome rhythms going with their tap shoes.

They have everyone's awe & attention from the moment they begin, until the tap segment has ended. The costumes, sound, and lighting are second to none at the theater.

So, I suggest that you do what my family does every time we go to Branson, GO SEE THE HAYGOODS . . . YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!
