Tony
Roi at Branson's Graceland
My husband and I go to see Tony
Roi, at least once a month if possible. He has this incredible
voice that just lifts your spirits and makes you want to fly. Every
time I go, I sit in my chair and wait with such anticipation for him
to come on stage. It’s such a good feeling, my heart is beating so
fast, and then I hear his voice from behind the curtain and then
there he is. His hips swaying and his voice just melting me right
there in my seat.
My
husband always wants Tony to sing American Trilogy. He thinks he
sings it better than Elvis did, but no matter what he sings, his
voice is awesome, and he always gives you 200 percent. You never
leave there feeling disappointed. It’s just not possible to feel
that way. And one of the great things that we love about Tony’s show
is that its never the exact same show.
You can go one day and the next day
he will have added a few different songs to his show. He covers
Elvis's early music right up to his latest songs. He also does a
gospel song that brings tears to your eyes. Tony even adds some of
his own songs from his Hand in Hand CD. There are several beautiful
songs on that Tract but he usually just sings one of them.
The Theatre has really good acoustics for a great sound, and
everyone there at the Theatre is very nice and friendly. There is
always someone there to visit with you in Tony’s souvenir stand, and
his wife Melanie is such a beautiful lady and is always so friendly
to everyone. I’m sure she gets a kick out of some of us old ladies
making fools of ourselves over Tony.
The Theatre has a drawing at
intermission to give away a free night at the hotel. That is really
great, just for being at Tony’s show.
The TR Powerhouse Band complete the show. Each one of the band
members are great musicians in their own right. And what can I say
about his Angel Singers that sing back up for him. They both have
beautiful voices, and they can each sing both the high and low
parts.
I was very impressed one day at his
show when Heather usually sings the real high part must have been
having trouble with her voice, and so Donna, the other Angel singer
that sings the lower part, sang the high part and she did it just as
well as Heather.
It is my opinion, that Tony has the
best musicians and back up singers in
Branson.
After Tony’s show he is always so gracious to come out and sign what
ever you want him to sign. He is such a kind, and gracious man, and
he is also very humble. He is very grateful for the beautiful voice
that is a blessing from God.
I can’t think of any other show
that I would rather see than ‘The Toni Roi Elvis Experience”
