Tony Roi, The Genuine Man
Nothing is comparable to a diamond and Tony Roi is that diamond. Diamonds have been imitated but will never be as precious as Tony. Tony has the brilliance of a diamond too. Tony is not an impersonator, he's an artist and performer. He interprets Elvis as a person and shows us "The Experience" as if we had come to see "The King", himself perform. He sings songs like "Moody Blues", "Polk Salad Annie", "Angel", "Devil in Disguise", and "Sylvia". But you can also hear him sing the songs he's written himself, like "Your Eyes Started The Fire", "Don't Walk Away". The latter song, "Don't Walk Away", was one of his mother's favorites. He has a new CD coming out sometime this month with these songs on it.
One of Tony's CDs, "Hand In Hand", released in Germany went gold. Buy his new DVD, "Tony Roi, Live in Concert, 2006", and you'll be able to take him home with you. And, as he says, " you'll be able to wind me up, slow me down, fast forward me or stand menu". You'll see him dance across the stage in your living room and you'll hear his majestic and beautiful voice fill your home. For his first time viewers, their mouths will drop open and all you'll hear is "Oh my gosh". They can't believe what they are seeing and hearing. Men, women and children alike come to see him. They can get their pictures taken with Tony and or his "Angel Singers", Donna and Heather, by Sherri, Tony's photographer, during "Love Me Tender", He put his personal touch on it with a kiss or hug for each one when comes up. Sometimes, whole families get into the act for their pictures. Tony has such charisma, he wows the audience with his awesome voice, from a slow heartbreaking song to a tango that will "rev you up", in your seat. One minute tears are rolling down your face, the next you'll be rocking and coming out of your seat to the music of his great "TR Powerhouse Band", and "Angel Singers" Donna and Heather. Kelly Black and Gene Puckett really know how to make their guitar? bass talk, and Dino is such a fantastic drummer. Gary Freeman is the ultimate band leader, keyboard player and arranger. Tony gives you a full two hour show and it may be longer, if the crowd spurs him on. Tony's staff, Richard
Bliss, Crystal, and Sherri is warm and friendly. They make you feel
at home in Tony's living room. You may buy a scarf and get a
kiss from Tony from the stage. And he will ask you if you want it
wet or dry and the usual is wet. He will wipe his beautiful beads of
perspiration off for you with your scarf. Tony puts 200% into each and every show. You'll be taken aback at his talents, humor, charisma, sincerity and sensitivity. You'll not find anyone any better. He's an artist. He loves all his fans, caring for each and everyone. He takes time after the show to meet and greet everyone and sign autographs. You'll never hear him complain. He stays until the last person has been greeted. You may also the your own personal picture with Tony on your camera.
Tony wants to make a difference in our lives. He wants to touch people and make them happy with his music. He sees the joy and contentment on the faces of the people in his audience. He touches our soul and we walk away fulfilled at what performance he give back to us. Tony never fails to thank the Lord for his talents and gift of song. When Tony sings, "How Great Thou Art, tears run down the faces of women and men alike. "Lead Me", inspires awe in we who see Tony's faith as he sings so beautifully. Tony salutes the men and women serving our country here and abroad with "The American Trilogy". He prays for "God to Bless America", "America my America", he sings because he is so proud to ba an American. He loves this country. He was brought to the United States by his parents, as a young boy. They fled Cuba for the freedom we know and enjoy today. Tony acknowledges the little ones as well as the children and teenagers in his audience. He comes down from the stage to give a scarf and kiss to those who are in wheel chairs, or unable to come up to be with him on stage. During one show, Tony gave a blind woman a scarf and a kiss. He allowed her to feel his face, so she could know about this loving, caring man. Diamonds, emeralds and pearls have been imitated, but will never be as precious as "Tony Roi, The Genuine Man". And if you don't come
to see him, you're missing so much.
