Duttons Are The Must See Show
I have heard of
connoisseurs of great wines, horses, or the arts, but I feel like I
am becoming a connoisseur of the Duttons!
If
we have counted correctly, we have now seen the show 20 times. It
never gets stale, old or boring. The Duttons have a way of keeping
what is best, and constantly changing some songs just enough so no
matter how many times you see the show, you just can’t wait until
you can see it again.
Have you ever been to a show in Branson where it sounds like a
pageant as they say their lines? The Duttons are so natural even
though you know exactly what Mom Sheila is going to say, she has a
way of flowing that makes it sound like she is just telling you what
is popping into her mind at that moment.
The smiles never look fake, or like they want the show to be over.
The Duttons make you feel like they were just waiting to see you
again and so happy that you came.
I have been to a few shows that made me come away feeling like I had
paid to see their children’s recital.
This is not the case with the Duttons. Although sometime during the
show you will get a glimpse of all 16 grandkids, I find I want to
see them just a little more. The Under the Sea number has little
sharks and Nemo’s bouncing across the stage and you would just like
them to sail by a couple more times.
We had seen the show twice this year, and were very surprised to
find a new song added to the show on Aug. 10th. The “Jail House
Rock” number was so good; we forgot to snap any pictures. We will
just have to make visit no. 21 as soon as possible to add those
pictures to our Dutton collection.
I find when I hear a song on the radio by the original artist, I
always think I like the way the Duttons do that song best. If you
want a complete variety of music then I suggest the Duttons.
