Branson Brothers LiverPool Legends
Branson Brothers Show
After finding out that Jimmy Ponder was producing a
new show late last year,
I knew I had to go and see it this year as I knew it would be full
of great
comedy and great musicians. And I have to admit, Jimmy didn't let my
husband
and I down in our expectations.
Although we the first half isn't our favorite with the all the songs
that
are done, it moves quicky and sounds sharp! And how could we not
enjoy it
when Terry Sanders aka Homer Lee and many other characters in this
show
continues to show up during the first half. This man keeps us
laughing
through the entire show. I swear the mans mind is never resting, he
is
always taking in things from people to add to his routine. We were
so glad
that Grandma Belluha was back in the show - and you never know what
she will
say! However, I do have a few favorite songs in the first half, like
I
Honestly Love You (Diana), Bluest Eyes in Texas (Jimmy) and whenever
Dee
sings, my granddaughter swoons, so I would say anything he sings
would be ok
with me.
The band does a wonderful solo spot in the first half that is a
combo of
lots of great hits and let's each member show off some talent. I
just wish
each portion of the song lasted longer and that Brad Allen on drums
would do
wipeout. This man puts so much energy into his performance, I can
see why
he is up for musician of the year. I have seen this man play at
other gigs
around town and play a song he never has before and if he wouldn't
admit it
to you, you wouldn't know because he never misses a beat. He truly
deserves
it - you can tell that he feels the music and frankly I think he
gets into
the music more than some other singers I have seen in town and he
doesn't
even have a mic. The entire band plays so well together, you would
think
they have been playing together for years.
Once the second half starts my husband and I really start to get
into the
music. I think my favorite is when Andre sings Driftaway. The
harmony of
these three guys is great, but I really love it when they get into
the R&B,
those guys all sound so wonderful. We also really enjoy it when
Jimmy comes
out with both Diana and Natalie to do Tony Orlandos Yellow Ribbon.
Natalie
is so cute when she sings 9 to 5 you can tell that she is
comfortable in the
comedy she is being asked to do. I love the songs they have chosen
to end
the show, it is a true tribute to those serving our country.
I cannot wait to get back to Branson to see my favorite show the
Branson
Brothers, especially to see Terry and Brad as the two of them are so
much
fun to watch ... I know without a doubt I will be entertained. This
show
and those nominated from the show are all winners in my eyes and I
hope I
can be there the day awards are handed out.

Liverpool
Legends' show rocks
Liverpool Legends' show rocks! They have the look,
vintage instruments and personalities of the real Beatles. When you
hear them, you won't believe the sound. You'll think it's the
Beatles themselves.
All of the band members are kind and friendly. You'll get to meet
them after the show. As an added bonus, you'll meet Louise Harrison.
That's right! The real George's sister. Hearing her talk about her
brother and the other Beatles, and why she wanted to manage this
band, is something you'll never forget.
It's
not a boring show where you have to sit and be quiet. They make sure
everyone has a rockin' good time. They play songs from all of the
eras and change their costumes and hairstyles to match.
If you've listened to Beatles music a lot and watched Beatles DVD's
like we have, you'll see and hear that Liverpool Legends are no
slopply cover band.
When you hear Kevin's voice you'll be amazed how much he sings like
John. If you watch him closely you'll see he acts just like John
too! He's awesome.
Then there's Davey as Paul. Just wait until you hear his rockin'
numbers and then the smooth tunes! Not many singers can do both like
Paul. And yes, he even plays a left- handed bass.
George is played by Marty. Watch as he plays every guitar solo, spot
on. When he sings you'll forget it's not really George. Remember
quiet George's little dance? Marty does! After seeing the show,
you'll know why Louise wanted to "adopt" Marty.
Big nose and all, Greg does a great Ringo. The head-bob, the
shoulder move and Ringo's drumming style will have you bobbing your
head too. Maybe you'll even sing along to "Yellow Submarine" as the
bubbles float by!
Don't forget about Bob! Who's Bob? We won't spoil the surprise, but
Bob plays all the extras that were on the Beatles' recordings.
Even if you weren't a Beatles fan or are too young to really know
who the beatles are, but like rock-n-roll, you'll love the show.
Liverpool Legends will make you feel like you just saw The Beatles
live! Great music, great guys, great band, great show!
