Dino’s Christmas Extravaganza

"The show started with a grand entrance. Dino was slowly lowered from the ceiling on a huge platform while playing a grand piano..." Continue

Magnificent 7pm

Do you like lobster or filet of beef? What about classic rock or Broadway tunes? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you too will think this dinner and show is MAGNIFICENT.

I remember seeing the Ray Stevens Show more than 10 years ago when he built his theatre and performed in Branson for several years. At that time Branson was is a major growth spurt and his show was big part

Tall Timbers Lumberjack Show

Fifteen years ago you might have been able to argue that there was not a lot of variety in Branson. There were only a few shows in a few theaters.

Darren Romeo: Something Truly Magical

There are a few shows that I go into with very high expectations. I try not to do that because I usually find that I am a little disappointed. The Darren Romeo magic show was one of those shows that I could not wait to see.

Back Stage with Darren Romeo

Dixie Stampede:  More Fun Than A Family Can Stand, 2005

There are a lot of great shows in Branson. There are also a lot of great places to eat in this town. But there are none that combine the two the way that Dixie Stampede does.

Hamner & Barber Variety Show

I am sure you have heard the saying “variety is the spice of life.” In the case of Hamner and Barber, variety is the pure magic and mayhem.

Comedy Pet Theatre

Gregory Popovich has trained eight dogs, 15 house cats, two rats and a covey of white doves to do some extraordinary things.

Wings Of The World

You may be wondering what Wings of the World is? I really did not know what to expect when I arrived for a visit in September of 2005. From the brochure and title, I knew there would be birds, but beyond that I was clueless. Continue

Branson Spotlight 4/18/05

Branson Idol changed its name to  Branson Spotlight as of 2005.

Haygoods 3/10/05

If I could use one word to describe The Haygood Show, it would be WOW!

Dalena Ditto Country Variety Show

From the time Dalena first walked out on stage and sang her first song, I knew my preconceived notions were completely wrong

Tom Mullica is a Red Skelton

Tribute show to Red Skelton. The gentleman setting next to me said that his impersonation was dead-on. All I know is that he was so funny.

The American Presidential Museum

-is an amazing collection of American history that starts even before our very first President was elected.

Silver Dollar City: Step Back Into Fun

Jim Stafford 4/1/05

GOOD, clean FUN! The Jim Stafford show is just that - GOOD clean FUN!

The World Largest Toy Museum

Who doesn’t like to be reminded of their own past? I am not that old, but I still like to think back to my childhood. A time when my biggest care was if I would play with my G.I. Joes or He Man collection.

Red, HOT & Blue 3/15/05

I am almost embarrassed to admit that in all my years of visiting Branson, until late July (2004) I had never seen a show at the 76 Country Music Hall.

Experience the Truth at The Great Passion Play 3/15/05

A Wonderful Detour in Eureka Springs, AR 3/15/05

This review actually takes place about 45 minutes south of Branson in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

The Grand Jubilee 4/1/05

The Grand Jubilee is one of those great shows that you should put on your list when in town.

50’s At The Hop 4/1/05

Let me start by saying that my growing up years consisted of the late 1980’s and 1990’s. I was not even a thought in the 1950’s. My parents were not even born until the middle of that decade.

Circle B Chuckwagon 4/1/05

Would you like to know what John the Baptist and Winnie the Pooh have in common? Well you will have to visit the Circle B Chuckwagon Dinner and Cowboy Show to find out.

Cirque (Neil Goldbergs) 3/10/05

I have to be honest as say that I watch the Bravo channel, especially when they are showing Cirque-de-soleil. I think the things those people do with their bodies is amazing.

Shepherd of The Hills Outdoor Theater 3/10/05

One show that I remembered from my childhood was The Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama.

Laugh Your Guts Out at Paul Harris 3/16/05

He does not dress like a hillbilly or any other funny character.  He does not use over sized props or light himself on fire.

What A Country with Yakov Smirnoff 3/16/05

I have found that many Branson travelers are return guests.  Most of them have that special show they like to go back to.
