Haygoods are Awesome!

Our family of 5 attended the show in March. We had seen 'The Haygoods' quite a few times at Silver Dollar City, dating as far back as 1995 but had not been back to see them since they had their own venue.

haygoodsI was a little concerned about having our daughters, who range in age from 11-18, enjoy it as well as my husband and I. I need not have feared!! We all thoroughly enjoyed the show, and agreed that it was a highlight of our trip.

The show started out with "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" and the pace kept us moving right along throughout the evening!

Going through the different era's was really good, and it brought back a lot of memories for my husband and me. It was done in such a way and with so much action that our daughters even got into it.

I was really happy that they still have a section of their performance reserved for sacred music. They handled it so respectfully, and really knew how to switch from having fun to being serious.

"Down the Seven Bridges Road" was beautifully done, making use of all of the older brothers' vocal talents. Each of the guys has such God-given talent, and what a joy to listen to them use it. It was really neat to see each of them, and what role they play in the performance.

I remember when Catherine and Aaron were born, and to see how they have really gotten in to the "family business" was good. Each of the family members really make you feel like they love to perform and that it gives them great joy.

The respect that they have for each other as a family was heartwarming. To see them give each other nods when they have accomplished a difficult piece or action showed me that they really do have a good family connection with each other.

We had not decided to get a DVD at the show, but after we got home, we really wished we had gotten one. I emailed them, not knowing if it was still available or not. I got prompt and personal service within several hours, and received the DVD in the mail soon after. I was impressed with the service I received.

When we got to Branson again, I am confident that we will be making sure that we get to the show again. The seating was comfortable, and we thoroughly enjoyed everything about the performance. I would recommend 'The Haygoods' for families of any ages.
