Gallagher In Branson
Gallagher has taken the concept of food processing to new
heights...For the first time ever in Branson, Gallagher, the comedy
legend, recent California gubernatorial candidate and presidential
candidate, will shower the audience with humor, pureed fruit salad
and other food groups from June 16 through Sept. 4 at the Moe Bandy
Theatre (across from Wal-Mart on the 76 Strip.) Gallagher opens
Friday with two shows at 8 and 11 p.m. Tickets go on sale Wednesday
at 10 a.m.
Gallagher's
trademark Sledge-O-Matic vaulted the comedian to a place of
adoration among all his fans who risk going home with melon pulp or
lumps of cottage cheese in their hair just to see his act.
More than flying bits of food, Gallagher's show incorporates
brilliant social and political commentary as only he can deliver.
Add to this a plethora of oddball props and you have the ingredients
of one of the most captivating, outrageous performers in the
entertainment world.
More than any other comic,
Gallagher is best known for his 16 audacious cable television
specials with titles like "Uncensored Evening," Too Real," "Mad As
Hell," "Totally New," "That's Stupid," "Stuck in the 60's," "The
Maddest," "The Bookkeeper," "Over Your Head," "Overboard," "The Leap
Year Marathon," "Melon Crazy," "The Messiest Of," "We Need a Hero,"
"Smashing Cheeseheads" and "Sledge-O-Matic.com." Gallagher's latest
CD, "Looking for Intelligent Life" and Gallagher's videos are
available online at www.gallaghersmash.com, along with his T-shirts
and GallaGear.
The food will hit the fans, and they show up Pre-Gallagherized,
wearing raincoats, ponchos, goggles, sunglasses and umbrellas; the
brave and lucky scoring seats in the Sledge Zone. Fans always get
more than their money's worth, Gallagher gives 110% before and
during every side-splitting show, always posing for pictures and
signing autographs. Flash photography is allowed and encouraged, he
even has cameras and ponchos if you forget yours. Don't miss out on
