Darren Romeo Is A Show Delight
October 29, 2005
The stars shine brightly in the "Entertainment Capital of Live
music," and Darren Romeo, "The Voice of Magic," is one more name you
can add to Branson entertainment glamour.
Romeo appears Friday-Tuesday in the main showroom of the Welk Resort
Theater, where he dazzles audiences with his one-man show.

This young man's unique talent incorporates singing, magic and
impressions, and he is a perfectionist in each category. Romeo truly
possesses a voice that is magic and a skill for performing illusions
that would make the great Houdini proud.
A multitalented young man, Darren Romeo is as comfortable
signing an Andrew Lloyd Webber song as he is performing a magic
trick on par with David Copperfield. Combining his many skills he
performs illusions and sings simultaneously a most difficult feat to
accomplish.
Romeo is blessed with a powerful voice, a handsome face and a comic
flair that makes him seem larger than life. The show not only
incorporates magic and music, but also contains comedy and Romeo's
unique spin on celebrity impressions. When you hear Romeo's
magnificent voice, you will understand why people have compared his
singing to Michael Crawford's. This is most evident when Romeo does
a levitation illusion while singing "Music of the Night" from
Phantom of the Opera.
Romeo's one-man show highlights his multiple talents, including
introducing some of his original compositions. He also pays tribute
to his namesake, the late Bobby Darin, whose hit songs, "Dream Lover
and "Mac the Knife," are featured in the show.
Romeo will excite and surprise audiences with his sensational magic
and singing abilities. If you want to be enthralled with vocal
talent with illusion for magical results. Darren Romeo is a show
delight with the most compelling and unusual show to hit Branson in
many years.
