Branson Vacation Inn & Suites

Heath Hawkins

Over Memorial Day weekend I was in Branson to meet some family from Arkansas. We stayed at the Branson Vacation Inn & Suites on Highway 165. The hotel was just off the main Branson Strip, Highway 76.

The Branson Vacation Inn is a very large facility that used to be a part of the Seven Gables Inn property. It has changed owners and is now a separate facility. When you turn off of Hwy 76 on Hwy 165, you will have no problem finding the hotel. It is a beautiful light brick hotel with tons of white eves.

My family arrived before me, so they checked into the room. They had not problems checking and or finding the room. The front desk staff was very kind and handled the process smoothly. Throughout our stay the front desk staff was very helpful and glad to meet all our needs.

The room was on the third floor in the back of the hotel. I was concerned about being in the back until I arrived. The room overlooked a manicured flower garden. The smell of blooming honeysuckles and the quant setting areas were very inviting. Our room on the third floor offered a view of the park, while the rooms below offered an opportunity to walk right out into the garden.

The hotel room itself is what I would consider a traditional Branson area hotel room. It was not large or fancy, but it was clean and had all the amenities you would expect. Every room had cable TV with remote, free local phone calls, and though there was no swimming pool at this hotel, you do have access to a nearby pool. They also provide access to the internet in the lobby for those of you who must check your e-mail. The deluxe continental breakfast includes waffles, bagels, toast, cereal along with juice, milk and coffee.

Our room had two queen beds. That offers a family more room than the traditional two double beds that most Branson hotels provide. There are also rooms with king size beds. If you are really looking to relax, ask them about there king suites. These rooms come complete with a Jacuzzi. Weather you are traveling with family or want to be pampered, the Branson Vacation Inn & Suites has the room for you.

The Branson Vacation Inn & Suites offers comfortable quarters just one block off the busy 76 Country Blvd. Their room rates range start at just $42 per night depending on the time of the year and the type of room you select. Make sure to ask about senior citizen and AAA discounts.
