The Gatlin Brothers have constructed a music presentation that hits all the high notes while seeming to originate on your front porch on Saturday night. This Branson show was a hit in the middle of the afternoon at the Welk Theater.

Larry Gatlin and his talented brothers; Steve and Rudy have a good old boy style that showcases their wide range of country music. There are hits revisited, gospel songs, patriotic references and some close harmony.

Pam Tillis adds a sweet side and a showcase of her hits. The bottom line: it is a great show. Gatlin is just naughty enough to confound the fuss budget sitting behind me.

Steve Smith’s guitar riffs on the song Billy Jack Willis are, alone, worth the trip from Seattle. Hook it, Steve!

The Gatlin Brothers is a very entertaining show. We have enjoyed their performances many times. Also miss seeing John Davidson in Branson; this is a very, very entertaining performer and he shared the Will Rogers Theater last year with the Gatlins and this was a great show bill for the theater. Keep the Gatlins and bring in John Davidson as well.

(Editor’s note: The Gatlin Bros. are now at the Welk Resort Theatre with Pam Tillis.  The Will Rogers Theater is now The Yakov Smirnoff Theater.)
