Amanda and the Magnificent 7, Great Show!
There was even a horns section (my hubby loved this since he played a trumpet in college). The three headliners, Amanda, Joe, and Tamra each sang a couple of songs. At 18, Amanda has to be one of the best talents we have ever seen! Her unique yodeling and stage presence kept us captivated. Tamra also was a very good vocalist. The show has a lot of production and talent. Our favorite parts included Amanda's clown section, a Broadway skit section that had selections from Oklahoma, Cats, Funny Girl, Grease and a few others. We also really liked the Mexican (Latin?) section. The gospel section was very good. Amanda's rendition of Mary Did You Know was quite moving. The patriotic section was probably our least favorite section. It seemed a little hokey or cheesy. We would definitely recommend seeing this show! The week we were there, we saw 5 shows and Magnificent 7 was at the top of our list. It was a nice touch to see Amanda mingling with the audience at intermission. She has a wonderful, magnetic personality. I also wanted to mention that they have a very good gift shop at this theater. We bought several items while we were there! -Martha J, Colorado Springs, CO If you liked this article - Link it
